Sorry that I need to write in English.

I will travel through Denmark twice in the end of February and beginning of March and I also would like to drive off-road. Is there places that one can drive with own car (Discovery 200Tdi) outside normal roads?

I don't know of any pay'n'play areas in Denmark. But depending on where in Denmark you are, we could proberbly find something for you.

There might be a club-event near you, or if you are near Odense we could perhaps scramble something up for you.

I havn't forgot how Martin and I was welcomed in the Peaks. We had the off-road time of our lives. Maybe we could repay a bit of that hospitallity.

I will attend Land Rover Diagnostics Training in UK 28.2.-1.3. and most probably use ferry from Esbjerg to Harwich and travel Copenhagen-Esbjerg on Tuesday 25.2. and Esbjerg-Copenhagen on Monday 3.3.2014. I can use one more day on any direction, if needed. If weekdays are difficult for arrangements it is possible that I will start my trip earlier and then Sunday 23.2. would be free for any activity.

Odense and LRE will be just on my way. And any other place will not be that far anyhow. It would be more fun to meet also local enthusiasts in addition to the off-road driving.

The arrangement at Hedeager starts with the annual general meeting for Region Western Jutland. I guess that the off road area will be open 12:00-16:00.

Hedeager is not a large off road area but very varied with tons of sand, clay, water and mud (if not frozen - then 'concrete') and a lot of quite steep slopes. It is good fun! I like to go there and may partipate on the day if possible ,-)

Dont get me wrong but I doubt if there is much to learn. They concentrate on the late vehicles with electronic controls (which I don't have). I have been at LRE Finland and also heard lot of their training programs.

Also I have been driving off-road since 1981 when my father bought first 4WD car and I bought my first -83. Currently we have 5 Land Rovers in the family: 2 x RRC, 2 x Disco 200Tdi and a Freelander V6 (wife uses this).
