Det hjælper ikke på opklaringen :
The AMR4248G is a A127/100amp alternator. This is suitable for a Disco and Range Rover Classic 300tdi.
We don't believe there is a different between the AMR5425 and AMR4248G. Originally there used be about 4 different alternators for the Disco 300tdi. Then land Rover superceded them all to AMR4248G. If you called up and you asked for an alternator, then this is what we would supply you. It looks like the AMR5425 is an old number they are re-supplying.
The Disco and Defender 300tdi alternators are different. On a Defender, there are two alternators - a 65amp and a 100amp.
- AMR4249G 65amp (has 3 fixing brackets)
- AMR4247G 100amp (has 4 fixing brackets)
You cannot change from one ampage to another. The engines and mounting points are usually set up to take one or the other.
